- 1964 Robert Marshall was born. Marshall reached 46 in the world rankings in 1990/91. His best performance was in the 1990 British Open, where he made it to the semi-finals before losing 5-9 to Canadian Bob Chaperon, who went on to win the tournament against Alex Higgins.
