- 1958 Paul Watchorn was born in the Dublin suburb of Crumlin. He was a pro snooker player for a few seasons ca. 1990, with a top ranking around no. 100. He achieved one of his best results in 1990, when he was just two games away from qualifying for the World Championship in Sheffield, but he lost 10-2 to Nigel Bond in the second to last qualifying match. Today, he is a musician playing in the band The Dublin Legends, and he is considered to be one of the best banjo players in Ireland.
